GoodBye 2013 & Welcome 2014!

It looks as if '2013 just started' but days just fly! Gud in one way but scary when yu get to know tat yu r getting older :P

2013 has been an yet another awesome year! Year started off well with the Shirdi trip on my Bday (Jan 12) which I would treasure for my lifetime just because it happened. Planned it all of a sudden and was able to execute it perfectly! First ever flight trip for me and my dad! It was then followed by the Shimoga trip on Jan 18 with the most loving ppl...Jaya aunty, Buchi, Kathy aunty and my mom.. All Ladies?! yes :P The totally unplanned trip was all the more enjoyable and we had one of our best times in Shimoga! 

Professionally, I did get a chance to try out evrythn that was in my To-do list..Participated in an Internal showcase event for the 2nd time and got lots of appreciations for the same followed by TCS 5k Majja run... Got promoted... My long-term dream came true - DANCE.. So far have been a part of it in School, College, Hostel and now at Office ! :)

On de personal front, der were a couple of hangouts with friends in and arnd bangalore...I meant only de shopping malls and restaurants..Whr else :P ! :) Awesome tym spent wit my roomie wit various photo shoots, vetti discussions abt future plans (though none had a clear-cut conclusion :P ) & paatu kacheri along wit nadanam once in a month! :P Videos preserved & also few r censored :D Nevertheless, der wer trips wit de family to native and few of de navagraha temples!

Coming bak to the highlights of 2013.... Took the biggest step of my life after about 2 yrs of dilemma! - GRE! :P And yes, the marks were quite decent..might be bcoz of de luck factor which keeps coming arnd me once in a while! :) Pls note : Once in a while! :P:P De other highlight was my writing score in TOEFL for which I keep thanking my blog every now and then ! 29 out of 30! It took me a while to digest my score! :P And nw, plz refrain from asking my overall score ! :P Having the scores in hand, shortlisted a couple of univ in & arnd New York to stay close to my sister if possible and yea, the Climate factor being the other reason! Hopefully everything goes wel in 2014..So Fingers Crossed for nw! :) Watch out dis space for mre updates! :P

Thanking de Almighty for everything that he has offered me so far in my life! Looking forward to a gr8 year ahead! :)

Aarambam - Dis is jst de Beginning! ;-)

The one-man army it is! The movie did receive mixed reviews from the audience, mainly because the overall plot wasn't well-planned. Agreeeeed! Yet ppl would go crazy for tat one person on-screen. Oh my gosh! Can someone luk so gud inspite of their salt & pepper look & stout stature?! Wanted to watch it very badly on the first day and yes I did (Oct 31^st, the “D” day) ! Had a sense of satisfaction bcoz I watched de movie but regretted it since I watched it in Blore amidst complete silence! Neither whistles nor screams! Neither for Hero’s intro nor for heroine’s entry! Cum on ppl.. Its tym to grow up! Yu wont lost yr two lbs wen yu shout or atleast clap wen dey appear! Wateverrr!!!

Booked it for de wrong show tym out of complete excitement yet V made it! :P The story was based on the terrible misfortune tat we faced on 26/11 , the serial blasts in Mumbai. The first half of de movie was so very exciting tat it kept the audience on the edge of their seats! Contrastingly, the 2^nd half was too draggy which made me look at my watch twice or thrice! Atlast the movie ended as an usual revenge story which cud ve been made better! However Kudos to de director for giving us an hero-centric movie!

Coming to de cast, it was a double bonanza for me! Aarambam  - Ajith & Arya! De combo was way too gud in de movie! Cant jst take off my eyes from dem through the entire movie! Arya has done his part so well and he is equally gud in de movie! They went hand in hand wit each other and it was a complete entertaining package for Ajith cum Arya fans lik me! Thank you vishnuvardhan for choosing such a spl cast! :)

Nayanthara – Nw I’m little scared! Don’t let me cum into yr fans’ club by acting so wel! Yu r an awesome actress for sure and there is no doubt abt it! I’m admitting dis after watching yr performances in Billa & nw in Aarambam! Noone in tamil industry cud ve done yr role any better than yu! Yu hav done a complete justice to yr character in de movie! Keep dis going!

Tapsee – Sry I don’t wanna comment! Yu might want to learn a bit of acting even before I share my reviews abt yu! May be yr character in de movie demanded tat childishness( not sure wat to call it) yet it was so artificial! “Baby” was at times irritating! Arya cud ve had a better pair! My two cents!

Der were two other roles in de movie which impressed me a lot! Rana Daggubati & Kishore – Their roles were not tat prominent but dey were de real actors in de movie! Hats off to yu guys! Keep rocking!

Music – Unfortunately didn’t make it to the expectations! Bgm cud ve been much better! I liked the “Melala vedikudhu” song the most bcoz of its colorful picturisation and it sounded so gud in de theatre!  “En fuse pochu” is my another favourite from de movie!

The Hero - Ajith – the Thala!!! Never getting tired of seeing him in de action-packed roles! Be it his stunts! Be it his style! Be it his walk! Be it his smile! Be it his acting! Be it his dialogue delivery! Be it his…etc….! He is jst de best! Cud go to de theatres jst to watch tat one mass scene over & over again – the look tat he gives to an officer for holding his hands! Masha Allah & of course Insha Allah!:) Long liv yu & yr career!

Aarambam – The Stylish Action-Packed Entertainer exclusively for one & only Ajith fans!

Labour's day and especially Ajith's B'day! His 53rd movie's teaser was definitely a visual tr8 for all his fans on his b'day! Expecting the movie to get released soon and awaiting to watch it on the first day of its release...:P

I still remembr de days wen I used to roam arnd thiruvanmiyur to get a sight of his residence which is in Valmiki nagar that is very close to the beach... Crazy days *-*..(I still do.. :P)  No specific reason but I ve always admired him for wat he was & wat he is... Inspite of de not-so-gud movies tat he had given in the recent yrs (to name a few ...attagasam, tirupathi, anjaneya, etc..), his fan base doesn't seem to hav reduced...In fact he is a rock star amidst so many young chaps nw... Down-to-earth.. So humble...polite...  HE is an epitome of Evrything!!! I respect him as a person, as a human being more than a star...And many many many mre happy returns of de day thala...! Long liv yu & yr principles!:) PROUD to be UR FAN! :) 

Never Ending Hang^Out !;-)

18-Jan-2013... It was a bright sunny day. As usual I had to take a planned (:P) for a totally Unplanned trip. It all started wit Thailand but konjam take diversion eduthu it ended up in Shimoga... Never mind..a trip is a trip no matter which place it is... :P In fact dis tym it was not my frnds who accompanied me.. it was altogether a different gang and dey call themselves as 'JayKatRen' @ TriAura.. Never go by their names.. :P JaykatRen are none other than my mom and & her 2 close frnds since coll... (Jaya, Kathy & Renu)... 30+ yrs (JKR - Correct me if I'm wrong :D) of frndship n still continues.. Time  for them to save themselves from an evil eye :P 3 yrs back, the 3 gr8 women had been for the North India trip all alone covering the places till Kashmir. I thought it was not a big deal and Nw, I totally  regret after seeing de pics dey ve captured.. Oh man, I shud say 'It was mind-blowing'. Hmmmm....

Shimoga... It was JayKatRen, Nivi & Buchi (jaya aunty's successor & her exact replica :P) !! Left blore at around 1 in de noon by Car wit de packed lunch... And so much of Snacks as if we wer going for a week's trip :P Oru vazhiya blore cross pannom.. Thot of having a break near Tumkur & had our lunch..If i remembr correctly, it was Veg Pulao , Yummy Panneer Curry, Chips... and No perfect meal ends without curd rice & pickle :P Der was a handloom shop nearby whr v did some kind of mini shopping and continued our journey.. Played cards for half of de journey... It was almost 7 pm wen v reached Shimoga @ Shivamogga... But its not de place whr v halted.. V travelled a little further... It was the Matthuga Homestay tat we chose... De way to the homestay was a little scary & isolated situated amidst the Areca plantation... However de cottages wer really really Gud & much satisfactory! Perhaps, it was de perfect tym for dinner... Oru full round dinner saaptu poi thoongnadhu dhan nyabagam iruku :P

Got up a little early de nxt day..Apdi Ipdi nu ready aagi v headed for de breakfast.. Since v wer staying close to Jog falls, v thot we wil cover tat spot first...JOG Falls - Pictures la dhan paathurukan avlo water... Anga pona  v had to search whr de water falls was...:P V wer jst roaming arnd de place, captured some snaps.. And had a 'hahahahaha' chat as ever:P Den it was Talakalale dam... Waited for sometime enjoying the flowing water and went for Boating... Sema ragalai :P... Highlight ye Jaya Aunty's poses for pictures only! :P  Der was one remarkable incident tat happened wen we wer abt to end de journey. While de person who drove de boat was helping us to step out from it, Jaya Aunty shook de boat so much tat she was almost abt to push him into water :P Aunty, any revenge ?! Huh?!:P Bak 2 de homestay for Lunch.. Rested a bit... and started bak 2 a place called Sigandoor wit lots & lots of expectations & excitement (Google to see its speciality :P) Aana Adhellam oru kurugiya kaalathuku dhan :P Launch Ippa varum Appa varum nu wait panni 2 launch'a miss panni 3rd launch la oru vazhiya allow pannaanga... De Revolt den began.. Adhu varaikum Enga gang la oru Vijayashanthi (Kathy aunty :P) irundhadhu theriyaama pochu! 'Poda' nu aunty anniku sonnadhu inniku varaikkum Echo aagudhu...!  I salute yu aunty :P Prob yennana dey wanted to giv preferences to de local buses and thereby asked us to wait for de 4th launch 2 come! Dey tested our patience 2 de core tat v thot of dropping de plan & atlast came bak 2 our homestay.. Fun begins from nw on... V started playing cards and were laughing so loud so tat our voices wud ve reached miles :P Gud tat de homestay didnt charge us extra for our midnight chit-chat :P 

De nxt mrng, v vacated de homestay after havin our brkfst... V had planned to go for a jungle safari near Shimoga... Though they had each & every animals locked up in their own enclosures, we shouldnt call it a "Zoo'..It is a 'Jungle safari' according to dem :P But yeah, it was worth visiting it once! Wide array of wild animals yu cud see!! It was almost lunch time... So as per de plan, v had it in 'Hotel Royal Orchid' and it was a tr8 from Jaya aunty for No Reason I guess :P After having a heavy lunch, v left de place wit a heavy heart! Since the driver who accompanied us was based out of KA, he had only Kannada songs and very few Tamil songs out of which one was Kalasala from Osthi... My mom asked him to play tat song so repeatedly tat at one stage (Nw it has b'com Buchi's mrng wake-up song it seems :P and her inspiration for tat song is none othr than my mom ), we wer pushed to a situation tat we had to watch a Kannada movie for passing de tym...  No doubt we cudnt make anything out of de dialogues tat went on in de movie... De real fun started here.. Buchi and my mom started giving voice dub for de entire movie by having de audio in Mute.. I can bet tat de director of de movie wud ve commited suicide by den if he had listened to de voice dub given... Infact dey changed a serious violent movie into a full-tym comedy movie  :P  Having such entertainment in place, we didnt actually realise de tym... Reached Blore around 8 in de night and here ends our trip :)

V initially thot tat de idea of 5 women going for a trip is just a pie in de sky but V did it :P and I totally thoroughly completely enjoyed it and so did others..:) Btw, thank yu so much buchi.. yu were de sole reason for making dis happen ! :)
